We started Hunniford Heating & Air because we believed the Lower Mainland deserved an HVAC company that treats every home like their own.
Our Story
HHAC was founded in 2011 by Hunniford, a Red Seal refrigeration mechanic who spent a decade working for large commercial contractors before deciding to build something of his own. The goal was simple: a company small enough to care about every customer, and skilled enough to handle any job.
We started with residential heat pump installations in Maple Ridge and Coquitlam. Word spread quickly — not because of advertising, but because our customers told their neighbor's. Fifteen years later, we serve the entire Lower Mainland, from West Vancouver to Abbotsford, with a team of licensed technicians.
Heat pumps have always been our speciality. We were installing cold-climate systems years before the BC government rebate programs made them mainstream. That experience means we know which systems perform in our climate, how to size them correctly, and how to get the most out of every installation.
